PechaKucha is a simple presentation format devised by architects Klein Dytham where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds and the presenter talks along with the images. The key to a great presentation is to present something you love. Most people use PechaKucha to present their latest creative projects or work. Good PechaKucha presentations are the ones that uncover the unexpected — unexpected talent, unexpected ideas. Some PechaKuchas tell great stories about a project or a trip. Some are incredibly personal, some are incredibly funny, but all are very different.
Creative Leicestershire hold the license to deliver PechaKuchaNight in Leicester and we thought it would be fun to invite people to pitch a 60 second story of their creative journey for our PechaKucha Corner. The best we’ll invite to do a full presentation at one of our next events.
We have cheated with the first one being slightly over 60 seconds but it was such a good example we wanted to share it (thank you Nick). If you would like to give it a go drop us a line at email@example.com with a short pitch of what you will talk about and a link to your website – we want to know all about YOU and where you’re heading in the next decade…
